Explanation:
Every fucking day when I walk home from work or school some man makes some stupid comment like this and totally throws me off. Walking the streets of Calgary is like walking through enemy territory. These
streets belong to men, and they make sure you know it and feel it
every time you leave your home. These comments are clearly not
genuine. They are not based out of true admiration of my beauty or
honest desires to get to know me. They are reminders. This is a man’s
world, and I am here for their entertainment. Don’t fucking tell me
the women’s movement is already done.
